AppsFlyer connection

Creators, businesses, and marketing companies can track and enhance their sales funnel with the help of the analytics and marketing platform AppsFlyer. The platform's connectivity provides various apps, advertisers to execute large promotional campaigns.

Prerequisite

Admin access to Appsflyer.

Obtaining the AppsFlyer API token

Connecting to Appsflyer requires an API token.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to your AppsFlyer platform.
  2. Click on the user menu and select Security Center from the drop-down menu.
  3. Locate the AppsFlyer API tokens section and click Manage your AppsFlyer API tokens.
  4. You can view the available tokens (V1.0 and V2.0).
  5. Copy the API token V2.0.
  6. Navigate to your Data Integration Console, click Connection from the left-hand menu, and search for AppsFlyer.
  7. Enter your desired Connection Name and paste the API Token you copied.
  8. Click Save to complete the process.
note
  • Appsflyer does not have the Test Connection option. An error appears when you run the River if there is a connectivity issue.
  • When a token is reset, the one currently in use is rendered invalid, and a new token is generated. Include the replacement token in the connection as soon as possible to avoid data loss.
