AppNexus walkthrough

You can configure your Data Integration environment to connect with AppNexus by selecting the desired reports and specifying the necessary parameters for data extraction. Whether dealing with bulk or dimension reports, this helps you streamline the process and ensure accurate data transfer.

Pulling data from AppNexus using Data Integration

Procedure

Source configuration
- Locate and select AppNexus from the list of data sources under Marketing.
Source connection
- Choose an existing AppNexus connection or create a new one.
Build your River
- Select the desired report type: Bulk Reports or Dimensions Reports.
For bulk reports
1. Choose the report name.
2. Select the columns you want to include in the report.
3. Choose the appropriate label.
4. Set your time zone.
5. Define the time period for the report.
6. Click any input field to view available filters.
7. Specify the time period:
  - Custom Date Range: Choose specific start and end dates.
  - Defined Time Period: Select from options like Yesterday or Last Week.
  If selecting date range
  1. Specify the start date and end date.
  2. Leave the end date blank to pull data up to the current moment when the river runs.
  3. After each run, the start date automatically updates to the previous end date, and the end date will remain empty. This ensures data is pulled from the end of the last run.
  4. Set the time zone offset, applicable only if the end date is left blank, to align the data with the time zone.
  5. Use the Last Days Back input to pull data from a specified number of days before the start date.
  If selecting other values
  
  Set the timezone offset to ensure the dates reflect the correct timezone.
  
  Time resolution
  
  Choose how you want to group the results based on time resolution. Each record in the report will include metrics according to the selected time resolution.

Row per level

The data will be retrieved and aggregated based on your selection.
