Amplitude connection

You can connect Amplitude to Data Integration by setting up an integration. To get started, you must retrieve "API Key" and "Secret Key" from the Amplitude console and configure an Amplitude connection within Data Integration.

Prerequisite

Access to the Amplitude console with Admin privileges.

Obtaining API key and secret key from the Amplitude console

Before you begin

To connect Amplitude via Data Integration, you must retrieve their API Key and Secret Key from the Amplitude Console.

Procedure

1. Log into the Amplitude console: Log in to the Amplitude console using your organization's credentials.

2. Access account settings: Once logged in, click the Account Settings option from the top right drop-down menu.

3. Create or manage project: If you do not have an existing project, click Create Projectto create one.

• Provide a project name and click Create.
• If you already have a project, click Manage.

4. Locate API key: In the General Settings section, locate the API Key associated with your project. Save this key for the next step.

5. View secret key: Click Show under the Secret Key section to reveal your project's Secret Key. Save this key for the next step.

Creating Amplitude connection in Data Integration

With the API Key and Secret Key obtained from the Amplitude Console, you can create an Amplitude connection within the Data Integration platform.

Procedure

1. Navigate to the Data Integration console.
2. Click the Connections from the left-hand menu.
3. Click + New Connection.
4. Search and select the Amplitude connection.
5. Enter the Connection Name.
6. Enter the API Key.
7. Enter the Secret Key.
8. Select your Region.

Note that these represent the endpoints of Amplitude Regions.

9. click Test Connection.

Test the connection to ensure the validity of the provided API Key and Secret Key.

10. Click Save to save the configuration to establish the Amplitude connection within Data Integration.
