Rivers list and Groups (New interface)
The Rivers List and Groups tabs let you efficiently manage and organize Rivers and River Groups within Data Integration.
Rivers list
The Rivers List tab is the primary area to create, view, and manage all your Rivers.
River search
You can find specific Rivers using search parameters:
- River Name
- Source Name
- Target Name
- River ID
- Target Table Name (Applicable for Source to Target Multi-Table mode Rivers and Predefined Reports Rivers)
- Connection Name.
Filtering options
Use filters to narrow down Rivers and streamline navigation when dealing with Rivers. You can Filter Rivers based on:
- River Type: You can select Source to Target, Logic River, or Action River
- River Group: Select from available groups
- Scheduled: Select Scheduled or Unscheduled
- Status: Select Active or Disabled — this option is available only for Rivers in the new interface. Rivers in the Classic view are always Active by default.
Table columns
The table displays the following columns for each River: Name, Group, Scheduled, Modified By, Last Modified, Interface, and Status.
Status definitions
- Active: The River is enabled and runs according to its schedule or when triggered by another data flow or process.
- Disabled: The River is manually disabled and does not run until you enable it again.
- Suspended: The River is automatically suspended after failing to run successfully for seven consecutive days.
A yellow
Suspendedbadge appears in the Status column, and the River will not run again until it is manually re-enabled.
Quick actions
- Duplicate or Delete: Click the three-dot menu next to each River to duplicate or delete it.
Creating a new River
You can create a new River directly from the Rivers list page using the + Add River in the upper-right corner.
Procedure
- Click + Add River.
- Choose the type of River you want to create:
- Source to Target River: Extract and load data from any source into a target data warehouse or destination.
- Logic River: Transform data using SQL and Python and orchestrate automated data workflows.
- Build Your Own: Create a custom REST connection using the AI Data Connector Agent or an Action River for low-code API integration.
- Configure the River based on your requirements.
- Click Save to add the River to the list.
Groups
The Groups tab lets you create and organize River Groups, helping you categorize and manage your Rivers.
Procedure
- Click + New Group to create a new River Group.
- Enter a name and relevant details.
When setting up a group, you can select a color or icon to differentiate it visually and set it as the default group if needed.

- Edit Group: Update the group name, icon, or color.
- Delete Group: To Delete and permanently remove the group.
