RVR-TWTR-101

Issue summary

  • The error code RVR-TWTR-101 indicates a problem with authentication type required for the Twitter data connector in Data Integration. The error suggests that the {supported_auth_type} is necessary but not in use or not properly configured. This typically happens when the authentication method used does not match the requirements of the dataset or connection setup with the Twitter API.

Action steps

To resolve the error, follow these steps:

  • Verify Authentication Type: Ensure you have selected the correct authentication type for Twitter in Data Integration. Twitter typically uses OAuth authentication. You may need to choose either "OAuth" or "Custom Application" methods as per your use case:
    • For OAuth authentication, use the "Connect with Twitter" button in Data Integration to authenticate and authorize the connection.
    • For Custom Application authentication, ensure to provide a valid Client ID and Client Secret.
  • Re-authenticate the Connection: Sometimes the saved authentication tokens may expire or be invalid. Re-authenticate by refreshing your credentials.
  • Test Connection: Use the Test Connection button to verify that the connection is active and configured correctly.
