  • Allowlist IP addresses: Ensure that the IP addresses listed for Data Integration appear in the allowlist on your SFTP server. This is crucial for enabling communication between Data Integration and your SFTP server.
  • Verify Authentication Details:
    • Check if the correct authentication method is in use. Data Integration supports both basic password and key file methods.
    • If using key file authentication, ensure that the key file and its password are correctly uploaded and associated with the connection.
  • Test Connection:
    • Use the Test Connection feature in Data Integration to validate that the connection details and credentials are correctly set.
  • Check SFTP Server Status: Ensure that the SFTP server is active and accessible from the network location of Data Integration.
  • Network Configuration:
    • Confirm that any firewalls or network security groups allow SSH/SFTP connections on the required ports (port 22 for SFTP).
    • Ensure no network configuration changes have disrupted access.
