  • Error Code: RVR-SNF-002 indicates a failure to connect to Snowflake through Data Integration. This error typically arises from incorrect credentials, inadequate permissions, or misconfigured account preferences in the Snowflake setup.

Action steps

To resolve the error, follow these steps:

  • Verify Credentials: Ensure that the username and password provided are correct. Snowflake passwords should not contain certain special characters such as {, }, "\", "?, /, #, *.
  • Check Permissions: Verify that the user credentials have the necessary permissions — this includes access to the specified database, schema, and warehouse within Snowflake.
  • Confirm Account Information: Make sure that the correct account name and warehouse details apply during connection setup. Snowflake account names should be carefully checked to match the format specified in the setup documentation.
  • Network Policy Configuration: If your Snowflake account is access-restricted by IP addresses, ensure that Data Integration you have allowlisted the IP addresses in your Snowflake's Network Policy.
  • Use the Test Connection Function: After checking and adjusting the above settings, use the Test Connection feature in the Data Integration platform to confirm the connection is active.
