To resolve the error, follow these steps:

  • Verify Connection Settings:
    • ensure you configure Facebook connection in Data Integration correctly. To do this, navigate to your Data Integration platform and verify that the connection to Facebook passes the test connection successfully.
    • Check if the account used for authentication has the correct permissions on the Facebook pages that you want to access. Boomi recommends to use an admin account for such permissions.
  • Re-authenticate the Connection:
    • If the connection has expired, re-authenticate it by disconnecting and reconnecting the Facebook account within Data Integration settings. This will refresh the API token and permissions.
  • Refresh Data Integration and Browser:
    • Try refreshing the Data Integration page in your browser. This could resolve issues caused by session timeouts or stale data.
  • Check Facebook Account Roles:
    • Ensure that the Facebook account has adequate roles, primarily if your access relies on roles to read data from pages. Go to your Facebook settings to verify.
  • Ensure Correct API Version:
    • Make sure you are using a supported API version for Facebook integrations. As per current Data Integration documentation, the supported version includes Graph API version 15.
