RVR-FB-117
Issue summary
- The error code
RVR-FB-117with the descriptionMAX_RETRIESfor the Facebook data connector suggests that you exceeded the maximum number of retry attempts without a successful connection. This issue often occurs due to persistent connectivity problems, possibly related to API limits or network issues. This can happen if the Data Integration platform continues to encounter issues when trying to connect to Facebook's API after several attempts.
Action steps
To resolve the error, follow these steps:
- Check API Limits: Ensure that the API rate limits for your Facebook account have not exceeded your limit. Exceeding rate limits can cause the connection attempts to fail repeatedly.
- Connection Validation: Test your Facebook connection in Data Integration to verify login credentials and permissions. Ensure that the user associated with the connection has necessary permissions and authorization to access the required resources.
- Regenerate Tokens: If there are issues with tokens (such as expiration), try regenerating the access tokens associated with the Facebook connection and updating them in Data Integration.
- Network Check: Verify network connectivity to ensure there are no underlying network issues causing disruptions in connecting to Facebook's API.
- Retry Strategy: If applicable, adjust the retry strategy settings in Data Integration to prevent rapid retry attempts or to increase the time between retries.
