RVR-DV-102

Issue summary

The error Failed to refresh token (Error Code: RVR-DV-102, Data Connector: DV360) indicates a problem with the authentication process for the DV360 data connector in Data Integration. This particular error typically occurs when the refresh token for accessing Google's Display & Video 360 services has become invalid or expired. Tokens often have a limited lifespan and may need to be renewed periodically.

Action steps

To resolve the error, follow these steps:

  1. Re-authorize the Connection: Navigate to your Data Integration console and re-authorize the DV360 data connector. This will involve refreshing the OAuth token used to authenticate your connection with DV360.
  2. Check Token Expiration: Tokens typically have an expiration; ensure that the current setup allows for regular renewals, or has support built-in for handling token expiration.
  3. Review API Call Limits and Usage: It’s also essential to verify that the connection does not exceed the allowed API call quotas, which could sometimes trigger authentication errors.
  4. Update Credentials: Ensure that all credentials are current and inputted correctly within Data Integration, especially the client ID and client secret associated with the Google API project for DV360.
  5. Clear Cache and Re-attempt: Sometimes clearing cache or reattempting after a brief waiting period might resolve temporary authentication glitches.
