Issue summary

The error "Failed to legacy connect with general error" with error code RVR-ASA-101 indicates a general connectivity issue, possibly due to deprecated connection methods or incorrect credentials when attempting a legacy connection to Apple SearchAds.

The legacy way of providing API credentials involves a zip archive file and is being phased out in favor of the newer OAuth JWT method.

Action steps

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

1. Verify and update credentials: Ensure that you're using the updated OAuth method for connecting with Apple SearchAds.

The legacy ZIP archive method for API credentials might no longer be supported.

2. Create a new connection using OAuth:
   1. Go to the Data Integration Console and go to Connections.
   2. Choose Apple SearchAds from the list of connections.
   3. If not created, generate a new key pair in Data Integration and provide the public key to Apple Ads to obtain the Client ID, Team ID, and Key ID.
   4. Save the credentials in Data Integration and test the connection.
   5. After configuring OAuth, click Test the connection to test the connection.
