RVR-APS-003
Issue summary
The error code RVR-APS-003 with the description "2FA has no phone number" indicates that the App Store Connect data connector cannot authenticate because the connected Apple ID account is missing a phone number for Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
This failure occurs when Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is active on the account, but the absence of a trusted phone number prevents the Data Integration platform from receiving the required verification code. This prevents the authentication process from completing because Data Integration cannot receive the necessary verification code.
The 2FA is necessary to establish a connection with App Store Connect, which is a security requirement by Apple.
Action steps
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
- Verify that the Apple ID: Confirm the Apple ID used for the connection has Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) enabled. For more information, refer to your Apple ID account topic.
- Configure Trusted Phone Numbers: Go to the security settings and ensure that a phone number is listed under "Trusted Phone Numbers". If a phone number is not listed, update your security settings:
- Click Edit in the security section.
- Click Add a Trusted Phone Number.
- Enter a valid phone number and select Text message as the verification method.
- Follow the instructions to verify the phone number by entering the confirmation code.
- Test the connection: In the Data Integration console, navigate to Connections and click Test Connection to verify that the credentials and 2FA settings are correct.
