RVR-APS-002

Issue summary

The error code RVR-APS-002, with the description "2FA not enabled", in the "appstore_apps" data connector indicates that the Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) requirement for connecting to App Store Connect has not been met.

Action steps

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

  1. Verify Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) settings: Ensure that 2FA is enabled for the Apple ID associated with your App Store Connect account.

    1. Navigate to your Apple ID account settings and enable "Two-Factor Authentication".
    2. Add a trusted phone number that can receive verification codes via text or phone call.
    3. Generate an app-specific password if needed and use it instead of your Apple ID password.
    4. Update your Data Integration connection configuration with this information to establish a secure connection.

Data Integration requires Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for secure authentication when connecting to App Store Connect - Apps Analytics. Apple mandates this security measure for accessing their platform.

  2. Update the connection configuration: Enter the new credentials and the app-specific password in the Data Integration console to establish a secure connection. Check the Apple 2FA Support page for further assistance on enabling Two-Factor Authentication.
