Issue summary

The RVR-AMP-201 error occurs when you attempt to open a GZIP file contained within a ZIP file using the Amplitude connector in Data Integration. This error indicates a file compression or format handling issue that prevents Data Integration from reading the contents.

Action steps

  1. Verify GZIP file: Ensure the GZIP file is correctly formatted and not corrupted. Manually extract the GZIP file on your local machine to confirm it extracts without errors.
  2. Check connector and pipeline settings: Confirm if the Amplitude connector version or pipeline settings require an update. Check for known issues regarding nested ZIP/GZIP handling in your current setup.
  3. Validate data requirements: Ensure the processed data meets Data Integration and Amplitude requirements. Files must use supported formats, and their structure must comply with the data connector configuration.
  4. Reduce file size: If the error persists and the GZIP file is large, split the processing job into smaller batches to avoid file handling limitations.
  5. Review logs: Check the Data Integration logs to identify detailed error messages. These logs provide context about the failure points.
