Issue summary

The error code RVR-AMP-100 indicates a connection issue with Amplitude on the Data Integration platform. This error results from configuration or setup issues with the Amplitude Data Connector.

Initial diagnosis

  • Missing or incorrect API credentials: Ensure the provided API Key and Secret Key is correct.
  • Network or connectivity issues: Network issues preventing Data Integration from reaching Amplitude's servers.
  • Configuration issues: Issues with the configuration settings when setting up the Amplitude connector in Data Integration.

Action steps

  1. Verify API Key and Secret Key: Ensure the provided API Key and Secret Key are correct.

    • Log in to the "Amplitude" Console using your credentials.
    • Navigate to Account Settings to locate your API Key.
    • Ensure the Secret Key is correct.
    • With these keys, verify the configuration in Data Integration matches these keys.
  2. Network and IP Address Allowlisting: Network issues may prevent Data Integration from reaching Amplitude's servers.

    • Confirm that your network permits connections to Amplitude. You must allowlist the Data Integration IP addresses to enable this connectivity.
    • Check the IP addresses specific to your Data Integration account location.
  3. Configuration in Data Integration: Verify the connection settings when setting up the Amplitude connector in Data Integration:

    • Ensure the Connection Name, API Key, Secret Key, and Region are correct.
    • Click Test Connection in Data Integration to verify the connection setup.
  4. Further Checks:

    • Ensure no recent configuration changes in Amplitude affect the API access.
    • Check for specific restrictions or limits configured within Amplitude that might need adjustments.
