2024-10 Shopify API upgrade v2024-10

Starting on October 28th, 2024, Data Integration’s Shopify integration will be upgraded to leverage the latest Shopify API Version 2024-10. This upgrade ensures that your Rivers remain in sync with the most up-to-date data from the Shopify API.

Key changes in Shopify API version 2024-10

Checkout report

• Deprecation Date: April 1st, 2025

Countries report

• Deprecation Date: October 28th, 2024

Event report

• Update: Now supports handling null values.

Order transactions report

• Newly Added Fields:
  • amount_rounding (in both Custom and Predefined reports)

FulfilmentOrder report

• Newly Added Fields:
  • branded_promise
  • additional_information
  • service_code
  • source_reference

Analytics report

• Deprecation Date: October 28th, 2024

Customers report

• Newly Added Fields (in both Custom and Predefined reports):
  • sms_marketing_consent
  • mail_marketing_consent

Inventory item report

• Update: Now available in the Predefined Reports section.
• For more details, refer to Shopify's Inventory Item Report documentation.

Recommended actions

• If no action is taken, deprecated columns will be retrieved with null values.
• To remove deprecated columns from your Target table, run the River in Overwrite loading mode.
