Managing solutions

The Solution Management page lets you centrally add, configure, and manage solutions for your Space. In this page, admins can add solutions, search and filter existing solutions, edit solution details, and preview a solution before publishing it to a Space.

Searching and filtering Solutions

1. Log in to the Boomi Platform and navigate to Labs > Marketplace Publisher from the Services menu.
2. Go to the Solution Management tab.
3. Type a solution name in the search box to filter solutions by name.
4. For advanced filtering, click the Filters icon and apply one or more of the following filters and click Apply:
   1. Select one or more Spaces from the Spaces Name drop-down list.
   2. Select the Solution Type to narrow your search.
   3. Select either Draft or Published to filter by solution Status.

A refreshed list of Solutions based on your filter preferences is displayed.

Viewing Solution details

1. In the Solution Management page, click View on a solution tile. The list of Spaces associated with the solution are displayed.
2. Click Actions (ellipsis icon) and then select either Edit Solution to edit the solution in context, or Remove Solution.

Adding a Solution to a Space

1. In the Solutions Management page, click Add Solution.
2. Select a Solution Type and Space.
3. Select a Solution based on the Space selected.
4. Click Continue.
5. In the first step of the solution publishing wizard, add details of the Solution selected. For more information on adding solution (Integration Pack) details, refer to Adding Integration Packs to a Space
6. Click Next. You can also save the solution as draft for later editing.
7. In the second step of the wizard, add any required input fields and click Next.
   note

   A maximum of 10 additional input fields can be added.

8. In the final step of the wizard, apply attributes across categories for the solution being added.
9. Click Review.
10. Review the Solution summary and click Publish. The Solution is published and the Solution Management page with the added solution is displayed. Repeat the above steps to add more Solutions to the Space.
