Adding Recipes to a Space

Recipes in Boomi are pre-built integration solutions that partners and developers can create, publish, and share through the Boomi Marketplace. They serve as reusable templates designed to solve specific integration challenges and accelerate implementation time. As a Spaces admin, you can add these Recipes to specific account groups.

To add a Recipe to a Space:

  1. Log in to Boomi Enterprise Platform.

  2. Click the Services menu on the right and navigate to Labs > Marketplace Publisher.

  3. Go to the Space Management tab and click the Edit button for the Space to which you want to add the Recipe.

    Alternatively, you can also add Recipes from the Solution Management tab.

  4. Click Add Solution.

  5. Select Recipe for Solution Type.

  6. Enter the Solution Name and click Continue. The Recipe solution is added to the Space and a 3-step wizard to specify the solution details opens.

  7. Navigate through the following steps in the wizard. Click Save to Draft or Next after each step:

    1. Enter Solution Details

      1. Permalink: Marketplace Permalink for the solution.
      2. Bundle ID: The selected Bundle ID determines the bundles installed in the user's account.
      3. Description: Brief description of the recipe that shows up in the Solution tile and learn more pages.
      4. Difficulty Level: Level indicating complexity of the solution.
      5. Community Article Link: Link to the community article for the recipe.
      6. Detail Content: Rich text content describing the solution in detail.
      7. Features: Snapshot of key features of the solution that help the user to quickly understand its utility.

    2. Apply Attributes: You can assign Categories and Attributes to this Recipe from the list of entries you have created for your account group as the account administrator. For detailed information on creation of Categories and Attributes for your Space, refer to Attribute Management.

    3. Upload Media Files: In this step, you can upload a demo video in mp4 format via direct file upload or by inserting a URL. Optionally, you can also upload banner (light mode and dark mode) for the solution details page.

  8. Click Review. You can review how the Recipe details page would appear for the user.

  9. Click Publish.

The recipe is added to the list of solutions for the Space.
