Adding an API Service asset

API Service components are versioned, configurable, and deployable units used to package and expose logical groups of API endpoints. The components act as the interface layer, allowing you to manage how different sets of REST, SOAP, or OData services are presented to specific customers or partners. For more information on API service components and packaged components, refer to API Service components and Packaged Components.

To add an API Service asset to a Bundle:

  1. Click the Bundle name link to open the Bundle details page.
  2. In the Assets tab, click Add Asset.
  3. Select API for the asset type.
  4. Select a Packaged API Component from the list available.
  5. Provide a name for your asset.
  6. Optionally, add a description.
  7. Click Review.
  8. Review the details of the API service asset, and then click Add to Bundle to complete adding the asset.
note

To add a Packaged Component to a Bundle, you must set the Packaged Component privilege to Allowed at the time of Bundle creation. Also, note that you do not need to deploy the Packaged Component before adding it to the Bundle.

Once the API service is successfully added to your Bundle, you can click View against this API service to view this asset in the Integration Package Components page.
