Configuring OIDC in the Configuration Manager

Procedure

  1. Log in as an administrator to access the Configuration Manager.

  2. Navigate to Home>Cluster Settings>Authentication, and under the OIDC Setting section, enter the following values as per your OIDC setup:

    For the Issuer URL, Client ID, and Client Secret, provide the same values obtained when creating the application in the Ping ID.

    • Enable OIDC: Select this checkbox to enable OIDC.

    • OIDC Login Button Text: Enter any text you want to be displayed on the OIDC Login button.

    • OIDC Issuer URL: Enter the URL of the OIDC issuer server obtained when creating the Application in Ping ID.

      note

      To provide this value, log in to Ping ID, navigate to the Applications>Configuration tab, copy the Issuer URL, and provide it here.

    • Client ID: Enter the Client ID value obtained when creating the Application in Ping ID/OIDC Provider.

    • Client Secret: Enter the Client Secret obtained when creating the Application in Ping ID/OIDC Provider.

    • Choose Roles: Select the role you want to provide to the OIDC user. This role will be assigned to the newly created OIDC users.

    • Click Save.

  3. Click Logout.

After a successful OIDC setup, the OIDC Login button appears on the Configuration Manager and Developer Portal login pages.
