6.1.0 Installing Local Edition

This section is only applicable for installing Boomi Cloud API Management - Local Edition v6.1.0.

Installing Local Edition is simple with Helm.

Installing with edited values.yaml

1. Run the following command:

   $ cd <extract location>
   $ helm install apim deploy --set preInstallDBPrep.initDBUserPassword=<preinstall DML user's password> --set preInstallDBPrep.localDevAdminPassword=<ConfigUI admin user password
   

   The expected sample output is as follows:

   NAME: apim
   LAST DEPLOYED: Fri Oct 13 08:01:54 2023
   NAMESPACE: default
   STATUS: deployed
   REVISION: 1
   TEST SUITE: None

2. Get the list of pods.

   $ kubectl get pods

Installing using an over-rides file

Procedure

1. Run the following command:

   $ cd <extract location>
   $ helm install apim deploy -f <path to over-rides file1> -f <path to over-rides file2> -f<path to over-rides file n>  --set preInstallDBPrep.initDBUserPassword=<preinstall DML user's password> --set preInstallDBPrep.localDevAdminPassword=<ConfigUI admin user password>
   

   The expected sample output is as follows:

   NAME: apim
