Cache Reports

This report compares the cache responses served by Cloud API Management in the cache with the responses served by the origin server. By viewing the trend in cache responses, Reports Managers can analyze the cache performance of various Packages, Plans, Services, and Endpoints responses.

For All Plans and All Services at the package level, the cache report shows a numerical table format, while a similar report for a specific Plan or Service displays a pie chart.

Each cache page contains the following types of package-level or service-level reports on the Packages or Services tab:

• Overall Percentage of Call Responses Served - Cache vs. Origin (Aggregate)

• Overall Percentage of Call Responses Served - Cache vs. Origin:

  • by Endpoint
  • by Method
  • by Developer

• Percentage of Call Responses Served - Cache vs. Origin (Aggregate)

• Percentage of Call Responses Served - Cache vs. Origin

Reports Interactivity

On the Cache reports page, you can interactively view various charts, including pie or bar charts. The Cloud API Management reports, being interactive in nature, can be used optimally by the Reports Managers. Each legend in the charts is designed to display only the data related to that legend, hiding the data related to other legends. When the report displays a large amount of complex data, the legends can be used interactively to view a particular chart in an optimum view.

Click on the chart and select Reset Chart to reset it. Resetting the chart displays the standard view of the chart.
