The Spotlight page provides visibility into developer usage trends for account management.
You can view various reports on this page — including:
- Historical Call Volume Trends
- Historical Error Volume Trends
- Historical API Usage Limit Enforcement Trends
- Hourly Call Volume Trends
To access these reports, select a package or service in the Select or Search for a Package or Select or Search for a Service field on the Packages or Services page, then navigate to API Usage > Spotlights.
Historical Call Volume Trends
This report displays the change in the number of calls received yesterday relative to the number of calls received during the specified historical periods, expressed as a percentage for the selected Package (or Plan) and Service.
The previous day's call volume data, related to users and plans, is sorted in descending order. Administrators or Reports Managers can use this information to identify developers who may benefit from engagement or assistance.
Historical Call Volume Trends (Packages or Services): Field and Descriptions
The following table describes the fields in the Historical Call Volume Trends report of the Package (or Plan) and Service.

| Username | User or developer name. |
| Application | Registered application that utilizes the Plan or service. |
| Plan or Company | The plan or company that utilizes the API service. The Plan field is available on the Packages page, and the Company field is available on the Services page. |
| Calls Yesterday | Call volume of the previous day. |
| vs. Prior Day | The percentage change in the call volume is calculated as the difference between the call volume of the previous day and the day before the previous day. |
| vs. 3 Days Average | The percentage change in the call volume is calculated as the difference between the call volume of the previous day and the average call volume of the last three days. |
| vs. 14 Days Average | The percentage change in the call volume is calculated as the difference between the call volume of the previous day and the average call volume of the last fourteen days. |
| vs. 30 Days Average | The percentage change in the call volume is calculated as the difference of call volume of the previous day and the average call volume of the last thirty days. |
Historical Error Volume Trends
This report displays the number of errors received relative to the total call volume during the specified historical periods, expressed as a percentage for the selected Package (or Plan) and Service.
The call volume data related to users and Plans is sorted in descending order. Using this report, the Administrators or Report Managers can investigate whether a particular developer adheres to the terms of service.

| Errors Yesterday | Error volume of the previous day. |
| Calls Yesterday | Total call volume of the previous day. |
| Error % Yesterday | The percentage of the error volume of the previous day. |
| Error % 2 Days Ago | The average percentage of the error volume of the last 2 days. |
| Error % 3 Day Average | The average percentage of the error volume of the last 3 days. |
| Error % 14 Day Average | The average percentage of the error volume of the last 14 days. |
| Error % 30 Day Average | The average percentage of the error volume of the last 30 days. |
Historical API Usage Limit Enforcement Trends
This report displays the number of days a developer has encountered API usage limit enforcement within the specified historical period as an integer for the selected Package (or Plan) and Service.
You can filter this report by API Usage Limit types, such as Query Per Second (QPS) (throttle) limit enforcement, Daily Quota limit enforcement, or both.

The following table describes the fields in the Historical API Usage Limit Enforcement Trends report of the Packages or Services page.

| Application | Registered application that utilizes the Plan or service. |
| Plan or Company | The plan or company containing the utilized API service. The Plan field is available on the Packages page, and the Company field is available on the Services page. |
| Throttled Calls Yesterday | Number of calls that exceeded the Plan access limit on the previous day. |
| Days Throttle past 3 days | Number of days when the throttle limit was exceeded in the last 3 days. |
| Days Throttled past 14 days | Number of days when the throttle limit was exceeded in the last 14 days. |
| Days Throttled past 30 days | Number of days when the throttle limit was exceeded in the last 30 days. |
Hourly Call Volume Trends
This report displays the daily Number of calls received per hour for the selected call type. The date and time appear in the MM-DD-YY and GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) formats.
The report allows developers to analyze the call volume trend at a granular level. By default, it displays the total number of calls within the specified period. You can filter the report to view total, successful, blocked, or other calls.
