Methods
This report displays the average latency and other call details for all methods of the selected API or Plan for a selected date range.
Methods (Packages or Services): Field and Descriptions
The following table describes the fields in the Methods report of the Packages or Services page.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Method | The method name. |
| Endpoint | The defined endpoint. |
| Service | The API Service in a Plan that contains this endpoint. |
| Plan | The Plan that contains the Service. You can select a Plan from the All Plans filter to view methods associated with that Plan. |
| Average Latency (ms) | Total time taken to respond to an API call (sum of total time through the Traffic Manager to or from the back-end server) divided by the total volume of API calls. Refer to Latency Reports for more information. |
| Successful | Number of successful method calls. |
| Error | Number of method calls that return errors. |
| Total | Number of total number of calls. |
| Percent | Percentage of a particular method calls out of total method calls. |
| Blocked | Number of blocked calls. |
| Other | Number of other (other than successful and blocked) calls. |
Method Reports for Packages
You can view reports for all, defined, and undefined methods after selecting a package in the Select or Search for a Package field on the Packages page.
Navigate to All Methods, Defined Methods, or Undefined Methods to view respective method reports. Each method page contains the following types of reports:
- Top 5 Successful Calls
- Top 5 Blocked Calls
- Top 5 Other Calls
- Methods
The report on each method page allows you to compare and analyze the methods that are affecting the performance of the API. You can also view the blocked call rate and blocked call types.
Method Reports for Services
Method reports allow you to analyze the API call traffic at a granular level. You can view reports for methods after selecting a service in the Select or Search for a Service field on the Services page.
Navigate to Methods to view the following reports related to a particular API in a selected date range:

Call Volume: This report displays all API calls in a selected date range. The legends help you compare the successful and blocked call volume for a particular API.

Top 5 Method Calls: This report displays the top five method calls by API call volume for the selected API in the selected date range.
