Creating API Plans

A Plan is a group of methods that are made available to the clients. The client can access the data based on the Plan they have subscribed to. With Plans feature correctly implemented, you can restrict clients from accessing any classified data that does not attach the client's subscription or provide access to the required data.

Procedure

To create a Plan:

1. On the API Package & Plan List page, .

   The API Packages page is displayed.

2. Enter the following details.

   Field	Description
   Name	Name of Plan that is displayed while issuing keys and generating reports.
   Description	Plan description states the purpose of this Plan. It can also state how this Plan is different from the other Plans in the same Package.

3. Click Create.

   The Plan Contents page is displayed. You can define Plan-related properties on the Plan Contents page. For more information, see Plan Contents.
