Configuring General and Portal Setup Settings
Configure the settings for the Portal - General and Portal - Portal Setup tabs to customize the look of the Developer Portal.
Procedure

Click Portal Settings on the Get Started page or navigate to Manage > Portal. This opens the General tab page.

In Portal Name, enter the name of the client Portal.

Navigate to the Portal Setup tab and provide the following details:

In Logo link URL, specify the link of the URL that your logo links to.

In the Custom JavaScript File Inclusion section, provide the following details:

In Head JavaScript File URL, enter the URL of the JavaScript file to be included after all script files in the page
<head>. This file can be located within or outside the Portal domain. -
In Body JavaScript File URL, enter the URL of the JavaScript file to be included just before the
</body>tag. This file can be located within or outside the Portal domain.noteThe file can be hosted by the customer by placing it in the file manager or served by the Portal application. It is recommended that the customer identify an optimized deployment environment. In this way, the JavaScript file can be controlled by Boomi Cloud API Management or by the customers. To serve the JavaScript file from within the Portal application, contact Boomi Account Representative.

In the Inline Javascript section, provide the following details:

In Head JavaScript, enter the JavaScript code that can be inserted within the
<head>section of the page. -
In Body JavaScript, enter the JavaScript code that can be inserted within the
</body>section of the page.

In the Custom CSS Files section, provide the following details:
- In Screen StyleSheet URL, enter the location of the CSS style sheet file that is referenced as an include file in the
<head>section of a Portal page. - In Print StyleSheet URL, enter the location of a CSS style sheet file that is referenced as an include file in the
<head>section of a Portal page.

In the Inline CSS section, specify "Last Minute" CSS Overrides to list the actual CSS styles and override any other existing CSS code.

In the Primary Navigation section, provide the following details:

In Order, enter the order of each link or page on the Portal.

In Link Name, specify the tab name to appear it on the Portal.
The links can be named as per the Portal nomenclature. You can add the following types of links:
- Blog: Links to blog pages.
- Documentation: Links to documentation pages.
- Forum: Links to forum pages.
- Wiki: Links to Wiki pages.
- Custom Page: Links to custom pages that are created in the Content tab.

In Link, enter the URL for the respective page. You must enter the exact path of the page to complete the link.
The following types of links can be used in a Portal:

Link to the default pages such as documentation, blog, forum, and Interactive Documentation. For example,
http://demo3.mashery.com/blog -
Custom pages that are within the Portal domain. For example,
http://demo3.mashery.com/page/News -
Any page in the Portal domain that can be accessed can be included in the primary navigation.

In the Footer Links section, provide the following details:

In Link Name, enter the link name that appears in the footer.

In Location, enter the URL of a page.

In Footer Copyright, enter the copyright notice for the Portal.

In the Custom Headers section, provide the following details:
noteThe customer header section does not accept duplicate or restricted header values. If you add a header name, you also need to provide the header value. Similarly, if you add a header value, you must also specify the header name.
- In Header Name, enter the header name.
- In Header Value, enter the header value.
