Adding Domain Name Redirect

Redirects can be added on the Portal. If any domain URL becomes obsolete or is unavailable, the redirect option can be used.

Procedure

Configure the redirect URL and the HTTP status code settings to add a domain redirect URL for the Developer Portal.

  1. Click Portal Settings on the Get Started page or navigate to Manage > Portal. This opens the General tab page.

  2. Navigate to the Domain Names tab.

  3. Click Add Redirect. This opens the Add Domain Name Redirect page.

  4. In Domain Name, enter the name of the domain for which a redirect URL is specified.

  5. In HTTP Status Code for Redirect, select the HTTP status code for redirecting.

  6. In Redirect URL, enter the URL for redirecting if a domain name is unavailable.

  7. Click Save.
