Removing an attached policy template

On the Endpoint Policies page, you can unlink an attached policy template from your endpoint. After you unlink an attached policy template, you can disable, edit, or delete the policy template from the Policy Templates list page.

Procedure

1. On the Endpoint Policies page (refer to Managing attached policy templates for navigation), click the Actions menu on the Attached or Overridden policy template card you want to remove.

2. Click Remove.

   • For an Attached policy template, click Remove.
   • For an Overridden policy template, click Remove, and then confirm the action by choosing Remove again.

This unlinks the Attached or Overridden policy template from your endpoint. The Disable, Edit, and Delete options become available for the previously attached policy template.
