Creating an Organization
An Area Administrator can create Organizations and Sub-Organizations. An Organization Administrator can create Organizations and Sub-Organizations.
You can create an Organization or Sub-Organization to provide role-based access to the resources in the Cloud API Management Control Center. To create a Sub-Organization, you have to select its parent Organization.
Organization Visibility in Cloud API Management Control Center
- An Organization is visible to the Area Administrator and the users who belong to the Organization.
- The Sub-Organization is visible to the Area Administrator, parent Organization Administrator, and the users who belong to the Sub-Organization.
Procedure

Click Organizations on the Get Started page or navigate to Manage > Organizations. This opens the Manage your Organizations page.

Click New Organization. This opens the New Organization pop-up window.

In Organization Name, enter the Organization or Sub-Organization name.
noteThis field will only be visible to Area Administrators and Control Center users who belong to an Organization or are in the parent Organization. Users who do not belong to an Organization cannot view this field.

Optional: In Description, enter the description of the Organization. You can add or modify the description of the Organization later.
noteThis field is visible only to Control Center users with an Administrator role in the Organization, the parent Organization (in case of a Sub-Organization), or the Area.

Optional: In Select a parent Organization, select a parent Organization if the Organization you are creating is a smaller part of a larger existing Organization.

Click Save and close or Save and continue.

Selecting Save and close opens the newly created organization on the Manage your Organizations page.

<your organization name>page.
