Porting and Chaining
Local Edition Porting
You can port a connector to a customer-specific bundle in the Local Edition. To learn more about which connector supports porting, refer to the Supported connectors for porting and chaining section.
Classic Local Edition
Local Edition 4.x.x and earlier versions are considered classic.
Next-Gen Local Edition
Local Edition 5.x.x and later versions are considered next-generation.
API Policy porting exception:
- Classic Local Edition (4.x.x and earlier): API Policy porting is not available.
- Next-Gen Local Edition (5.x.x and later): API Policy porting is available starting in 5.3.1.
Cloud API Management Chaining
You can chain a connector with other Cloud API Management Connectors and Adapters developed as Processors. To learn more about which connector supports chaining, refer to the Supported connectors for porting and chaining section.
