Configuring certificates and identities in Configuration Manager
Certificate Management in Configuration Manager lets you upload and manage the certificates and identities that secure connections for your Boomi Cloud API Management - Local Edition cluster. A certificate is a public certificate file that Configuration Manager trusts. An identity is a certificate and private key pair, packaged as a Public Key Cryptography Standards (PKCS#12) file, that Configuration Manager presents to establish its own identity.
Starting with 6.x.x, you can configure Certificates and Identities in Configuration Manager UI.
Prior to 6.x.x, certificates and identities were configured using Cluster Manager CLI commands. Refer to Create New Certificate section in 5.6.2 Installation and Configuration Guide for more information.
Prerequisites
- Administrator access to Configuration Manager. Refer to Signing in to Local Edition Configuration Manager for more information on sign-in steps.
- A certificate file in
.cerformat, if you're adding a certificate. - An identity file in
