Migrating Utility Editions

Container Edition

Use Container Edition when it is possible to run docker in a VM and when the VM is on the same network as Boomi Cloud API Management – Local Edition 4.x.x. Refer to Setup Environment for Container Edition.

There is no impact on the current Local Edition 4.x.x deployment when using the Container Edition.

Embedded Edition

Using Embedded Edition when setting up the environment for Container Edition is not possible.
