Runtime release Gateway update

This topic explains how Runtime Release updates apply to your API Gateway, and where to go to apply, roll back, or schedule those updates.

The API Gateways are technically a type of integration runtime. Gateways are updated following the same policies and procedures for all Runtime Releases.

The Runtime Release is the official release of Boomi runtime features, enhancements, and fixes. It is a production-quality release that provides the flexibility to apply updates to your runtimes, when it is most convenient for you, two weeks prior to the scheduled Platform release.

Applying Runtime Release updates requires restarting the runtime containers, which can disrupt running processes. For more detailed information, refer to the topic Runtime and Platform Release.
