Requesting access to an API
To request access to an API, you must find the appropriate API and Subscribe to it so that you can use it in one or more of your applications. Requesting subscriptions of disabled applications is not allowed.
Before you begin
Procedure

From the Developer Portal, click API Catalog.

From the available APIs, click on the API name that you want to view.
tip-
Select REST, SOAP 1.1, SOAP 1.2, OData, or GraphQL to filter APIs by type.

In Sort by, sort by name or last updated field to view the API.

In the Search APIs by name, enter the search string to more quickly navigate to your intended API.
The Overview and endpoint information for that API is displayed.

Click Subscribe if the API is the one that you want to request access to.
Otherwise, click API Catalog to return to the list of available APIs.

After clicking Subscribe, select an enabled Application from the drop-down menu and optionally provide a message to the API owner.
infoOnly enabled applications appear in the drop-down menu. If an application is disabled, you must enable it or ask the application owner to enable it before being able to select it in the drop-down menu.

Click Subscribe.
A “Subscription Request Received” message appears. Click Close.

Click API Catalog to return to the listing of all APIs or click Subscriptions to view the status of your request.
