Boomi API Gateway Setup and Management

You can set up a Boomi API Gateway through an independent installation. Before you run an API deployment, you must first set up an API Gateway.

Use this section to verify system requirements, download the installer, and complete the installation on Windows, Linux, or in a container.

Steps to set up your API Gateway

Follow these steps in order to get your Gateway running:

1. Review system requirements to confirm your environment meets the hardware, software, and network prerequisites.
2. Download the Gateway installer from the Configure Server > API Gateways page.
3. Install the Gateway on your platform:
   • Windows installation
   • Linux installation
   • Docker container deployment
   • Kubernetes deployment
4. Manage your Gateway instances — view Gateway status, add nodes, and perform ongoing maintenance.

API Management and API Gateways are single-tenant. You can use them only within the account where you installed them. You cannot share them across accounts.
