Creating an Application

Create an Application on the Configure APIs and Applications > Applications page.

Before you begin

Add a plan to an API.

Procedure

1. Go to the Configure APIs and Applications > Applications page.

2. Click Create an Application.

3. Select an API Gateway.

4. Specify whether to enable or disable the Application.

5. Give the Application a name, owner name, owner email, and optionally a description.

6. Add a description, additional contact information, and notes.

7. Click Save.

   The system adds the new Application, grouped by API Gateway, to the table on the Applications page.

   The Subscriptions column has default text that reads 0 Subscriptions meaning that the application is not currently subscribed to any APIs.
