If you need to connect to applications and data locations within your local network, you will need to deploy an Atom to a machine within the network. Use the following guidelines to help identify a proper machine to deploy the Atom to.

The Atom can run hardware ranging from business-class workstations to dedicated servers.

- Always powered on, or least as often as Processes are scheduled to run.
