5.2 - Executing a Process

You can manually execute a Process from the Atom Explorer panel on the Manager Tab. This is often helpful for testing and re-processing purposes.

If you want the Process to run automatically, see Scheduling Processes.

Steps to Execute a Process

Before you can execute a Process, it must be deployed to an Atom and the Atom must be online (Green status ).

  1. To execute a Process, click the Execute icon (). This will display the Execute a Process dialog:
  2. Browse the folder tree to find the desired Process.
  3. Select the Process name and click OK.
  4. Once the execution is complete the results will display in the Executions section of the Manage Tab. See Tracking an Execution for more information.

Where are my results?

Execution results are displayed once the Platform receives them from the Atom. Depending on the complexity of the Process, volume of data, and varying Internet connection speeds (if the Atom is running in your local network), it may take up to several minutes for results to be posted. Use the Refresh link to check for results every 30 seconds or so.
