4.3.3 - Removing an Atom

You can easily remove a locally deployed Atom by running the uninstaller program. This will completely remove the Atom and associated files from the machine. The Atom will also be removed from the Atom Explorer on the Manage Tab.

Removing an Atom will delete all execution history and data records. This means you will no longer be able to view results for Processes executed on this Atom from the Manage Tab.

For Windows, a shortcut to the uninstaller can be found in the Start Menu -> All Programs -> Boomi AtomSphere -> <Atom name> -> "Atom Uninstaller". Alternatively you can browse to the Atom installation directory (C:\Program Files\Boomi }}AtomSphere{{\<Atom name> by default) and run uninstall.exe.

For Linux, navigate to the Atom installation directory (/opt/Boomi_On_Demand/Atom/<Atom_Name> by default) and run the uninstall file.

This will launch the uninstall wizard. Click Next to completely remove the Atom from the machine.
