Configuring Atom Memory
If you need to process very high volumes, you may need to increase the amount of memory available to the Atom. The default is 512 MB. The highest recommended setting is 1024 MB.
To increase the memory:
- Stop the Atom.
- Navigate to the ..\Boomi }}AtomSphere{{\<Atom name>\bin directory.
- Open the atom.vmoptions file a text editor like Notepad.
- Change -Xmx512m to -Xmx1024m.
- Save the file and restart the Atom.
