After a Process has been built, it must be deployed to an Atom before it can be executed. The Deploy Tab is where you select on which Atoms a Process can run. Note that multiple Processes can run on a given Atom and a given Process can run on multiple Atoms.
You only need to deploy a Process once. Any changes made to that Process or any of its Components are automatically communicated to the Atom(s). No additional deployment is necessary.

In most integration scenarios, you will deploy all your Processes to a single Atom. However there are several situations in which you may want (or need) to deploy Processes differently.
- Very high data volumes. If you need to process very large volumes of data it may be beneficial to deploy multiple Atoms to different machines and dedicate an entire Atom to one or two processing-intensive Processes. This will help spread the processing load.
- Integrating between multiple networks. If your integration scenario spans multiple, separate local networks you may need to deploy an Atom to each network. This often occurs in cross-organization or hub-and-spoke types of integrations.
To deploy a Process:
- Browse the folders to find and select the Process from the list under Available Processes.
- Click the
Manage link to the right. This will open the Manage Atom Deployments window.
- Click the checkbox next to the Atom or Atoms to deploy to and click OK.

The Deployed to Atoms panel will refresh to show your selections. To un-deploy a Process, follow the same steps and simply uncheck the checkboxes.
