The Build Tab is where you create and edit the integration Processes and Components. Process workflows are configured using the Process Builder.

Folder Hierarchy
A Boomi On Demand folder
contains the components associated with a user account or integration project. The folder hierarchy depicts the structure of the existing components. A typical folder hierarchy is structured based on trading partner or application. The structure can be broken down based on the users preferences. Users can create new folders within the parent folder to better organize component groups.
Quick Links
In the getting started section of the Build tab, there are three links that provide a quick way to Open an Existing Process, Create a New Process, and Deploy an Atom.
Process Shapes
- Execution Shapes - These shapes transport and manipulate the data being passed through the Process.
- Logic Shapes - These shapes control the processing path of the data being passed through the Process.
Where does a data process begin and end?
Starting - All processing begins in the Start Shape that is supplied in each new Process. An inbound Connector is embedded in the Start Shape to extract the data for further processing.
Stopping - Any execution path built in a Process ends where a Stop Shape is defined.
